Like all charities, we need to raise funds. That all takes time which our busy Trustees don’t have.
Friends of Delamere
Delamere needs a fundraising committee which can concentrate on identifying new ideas to find donations, implementing those ideas, planning events, and running campaigns – we don’t expect our volunteers to phone potential donors or knock on doors.
If you have some spare time, organisational skills, innovative ideas we want to hear from you to join a “Friends of Delamere” Group.
Maybe you’re not a “committee person” but would still like to help?

Setting yourself a personal challenge then using that to raise money from sponsors for good causes is a very popular activity these days. Whether it’s a physical challenge or a totally novel activity you can probably find sponsors among people you know. In 2015 Delamere raised around £5,000 by its own Tramathon, visiting every tram station in Metrolink’s network! If you’re planning your own challenge (or perhaps belong to a group doing that), we would love to discuss how you could help us at the same time.
We have an Online Giving page on Smart Giving (using our legal name of Delamere Forest School Ltd) where you can find a helpful page to give you ideas and explain how to go about it. See Fundraising Hints and Tips
You will be able to specify that Delamere receives the funds raised by your efforts when you set up your own fundraising page.
Perhaps you have your own company and would like to be associated with Delamere?
